No, I've never had to do that with the Sonys so never thought it was an issue with any device. Basically it's just sending an updated copy of the book. Maybe I should have tried by renaming it first before sending and just letting it copy over and see how that would worked.
Next time there's a correction I'm anal about in the book I'm reading I'll do it both ways.
