First off: I would consider using a much more recent version of EpubCheck than 1.0.5.
Second: it sounds like you might have broken your opf file when making some changes and a new one was generated. Which would explain why the obfuscated fonts (which they clearly ARE obfuscated) can no longer be decrypted.
If it's for your own personal use, just right-click on the font files in the book browser and set the obfuscation to none (for each file).
If it's for redistribution... heed the duck's advice.
