I was just searching for a travel guide for an upcoming trip, and noticed that a bunch of Lonely Planet guides are free at Amazon. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I did a quick search and it appears no one has mentioned this in the last few months, at least. Of course, the one I was interested in is NOT free, and the selection is fairly random, ranging from Discover the Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel to The Phillipines, and also with a bunch of "specialty" ones about Britain (Culture Vulture Britain, Mini Britain, Tasty Britain, etc.) but who knows, you might get lucky.

I don't know how to do advanced searches on Amazon very well, so this is just a search for Lonely Planet as publisher, sorted by price, and the first ones are the freebies. There are 15 free right now.
