That makes absolutely no rational sense to me. You wouldn't have to waste ANY time shopping (or use ANY coupons) to get a better deal than what agency offered new release ebooks for (before agency went into effect). Quite simply put: the highest priced, big 6 new release—pre-agency—was cheaper (no promotional sale, no coupons) than the cheapest post-agency price. Which means your argument boils down to; "I like paying a higher price overall if it means no one else can get it cheaper than I did."
