The upgrade to 2.6.1 for the N905/N905B Touches seems to have been withdrawn around the same time that the 2.6.1b upgrade for the Glo/Aura/Mini/Touch N905C was released. Even if your old Touch upgraded to 2.6.1, it will revert to 2.5.2 after a factory reset.
