I'm looking for suggestions for novels whose stories focus on a treasure hunt. Historical, present/modern day or fantasy are all fine, but preferably not science fiction or paranormal.
The classic
Treasure Island is a good example, but also
The Amber Room or even something like
Indiana Jones (maybe a little less comedy-inspired, though). I'd also include
The Da Vinci Code in the list, actually, though it's not exactly what I have in mind.
