I too find that "hot fluids that are non-dairy and non-caffeine" help. Miso soup is a recent discovery, though I think if it was infused with chilli or curry it would work even better (chilli seems to sometimes work wonders). Non-red-meat curries (particularly Thai) seem to have some benefit, and I'm wondering if some type of curry soup (laksa, but without the solid ingredients)? might be one for me to try. Someone once recommended the "Gatorade" type drinks, but thus far I've only found some okay relief with them, rather than anything truly curative.

I fight using the pills too - I'll try push a big one with some, but if it only pushes it away a little I don't take any more because I know the migraine will eventually push back much harder.
