Except the firmware reset only helped for two days, sigh. Double, triple and quadruple page turns are back. Fortunately not happening constantly, but certainly much oftener than desired.
I'm still thinking on whether to return. I guess I could put up with the page turn annoyance, if it doesn't get worse. Seems like all the units have that, to some extent or other, so even another unit with a flawless screen probably won't be flawless on the page turn front.
Kobo has agreed to a return if I want, at least, so they realize it wasn't cool to send me a subsitute color after I clearly said no to that. That's something at least.
