Buildroot 2013.08 should be released in a few more weeks, with its improved ARM support and the ability to generate eglibc binaries.
Only thing missing - about 879 BR makefiles.
(Expect those can be generated from the rpm.spec files with a bit of Lua scripting.)
Plus a bit of testing.
(Oh, and merging Amazon's e-ink device changes into the version of the kernel and u-boot that Tizen 2.2 is using.)
