I just finished the first half of the pair. Verne is a quick enjoyable read for me. I love how he can transport me to the place and time. I am so glad I have many more to read still.
I do wish I could go back just to be able to know how common some of these things are. He is writing about 1865 and he talks about electric lamps as if there are just available.
Next will be the second half
