For me personally it would be important, because I have my own OPDS server running on my NAS using COPS.

But even witout custom catalogs it could be interesting for many other users. The feedbooks OPDS catalog is providing a lot of free public domain books in different filetypes. This and other catalogs made available with a nice interface directly on the Kindle would be a wonderful thing.

Given that I'm not able to code myself, I don't want make demands, what to include and what not.

The work on that browser here is close to being generally workable.
I can already access my library with the Kindle webbrowser. As the K4 is a non touch device, the navigation with a browser is not ideal. That's why I thought, a real app would be a good idea. I hope, not only for me.
Thereby I wonder why the prefix of the thread is "K5". Especially for non touch devices such an app would be useful.
