From your answer, I assumed you were under the impression that Home Improvement was a home improvement show.
It was a sitcom here in the U.S. that centered around inept handyman Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor (played by Tim Allen) and his family, friends, and workmates. It was quite good, actually.
