I use the little beanbag semi-circle neck cushions ( frequently sold in airports). Work perfectly when sitting in a chair or reading in bed. I use them for both my kindle and iPad. No need to hold either one up - they are perfectly supported by the cushion alone. As beanbags, their shape adapts as I shift positions. An extra bonus is that in winter, i can keep my hands warm under the covers
