I use a premium iPad stand with my Android. The stand supports landscape and portrait modes, folds up to be super compact for transport, has an amazingly durable metal frame with a soft rubber surface to avoid marring the tablet, it provides easy access for the charging cable, and rests nicely on any relatively level surface. Oh, and it cost a dollar from a dollar store.
