You can use a dash in one and spaces in the other - then Calibre keeps the separate.

Or, for this particular one, add "the" before "Numbers" - works just as well (better sounding than what either one picked, for me).

If you re-write titles to read in order, abbreviate (LbN01, LbN02, for example) so you can see the actual title on your reader's home page.
