There are a couple of very rare diseases that can be caught from coral cuts. I had one of them and it stumped a hospital full of doctors for six months. Test after test and they couldn't find it. Finally, I saw a doctor who was trained by the U.S. Navy, who treated a lot of Navy divers, and he was the one who figured out what it was and cured me in just a few weeks. Coral cuts are nasty!
