Thief by Tarryn Fisher, book 3 of 'Love Me With Lies' series, the first book is 'The Opportunist' which I raved about earlier in the thread and was [is?] on sale for $.99. It's not 'sick' twisted, just that you have this love/hate relationship with each character and the bad choices they make, yet you can't help but root for them. It's a very hard story to explain, not a lot of sex in it, but it's just a really unique, frustrating, brilliant and well-done story.
ETA congrats to apesmom on your new tablet! I love my SSGT, it's what I read on at night in bed. My only [minor] complaint is battery life, 7-10 hours max.
