I know. And I don't want to change anything in that.
I just want to rename my original file names on the disk.

I prefer it to have a "fall back" on my disk - which means:
a consistent pattern of file names for all epubs.
I'm not alone with that practice.
Many people who are tagging their MP3 music collections do the same.
