Data that is synced by either symlink or shortcuts will automatically become shares. Copy needs to mark these files as shares to upload the data that the link points to. We may change the way symlinks and shortcut are dealt with in the future. Nobody can access this data unless you send them a link to the data. If you unshare, weird definitely things will happen! I saw that it made my mp3 folder shared so I unshared it. All was fine until I added a few more folders and it made them shared as well so I unshared them too. All of a sudden I am only using 600 mb of data, but my mp3 folder is 20 gb. it looks like it is uploading everything again. I guess I should make them all shared again before I do anymore syncing.
I hope I don't have any upload limits! I don't have any official upload limits, but I hope all this activity won't cause a problem anyway.
