If I am reading a book and go to the home page when I go back to my book (or any other book for that matter) all I am presented with is the header of the book and a footer which says Loading Chapter "X" : "Chapter Title" - Page "Number" (substitute text in "" with actual chapter numer, title etc. from book) and no text. To get the text to display I have to tap on the Book Title at the top of the screen to bring up the "Search Kobo etc. options", then tap in a blank space on the screen and the text will appear.
When text does display occassionally only half the text of the top and bottom line on the page is displayed.
I am reading epubs that have been "kepub'ed" via the Kobo Touch Extended Plugin in Calibre.

This is so annoying! This happened on my Glo while I was away from home tonight. Read three chapters, went to home to check on something, and then from then on, could not get past a blank screen as you describe. Even powering off and on did not correct it. I had to start a different book!
