I must have missed something. Am I supposed to feel shame about self-promotion? If I don't, does that make me a sociopath? How about a Chimp?

My story, Monkey Talk, is going to be free on Amazon on August 10 and 11. It's about a Chimp who can give a lecture on cybernetics at MIT, but who can't seem to get a waiter's attention. The genre is supposed to be sci-fi - somewhere between humor and tragedy. People who read this post, and who download the story, and who read it, and who review it, will qualify for their own cybernetic neural-implant which will enable them to converse with everything (including lichen).
