Sorry, but as much as I appreciate people sharing codes on this site (and I've used three or four--no more than that, really), I can't help but be disturbed at the abuse of the contests--whether by bot or honest manual labor--in mining thousands of codes, which are intended to encourage individuals to buy Kobo books.
Please don't flame me. This is an honest opinion, expressed with sincerity. Anyone else?

It does look strange indeed. 4000 codes are a bit too much. It could lead Kobo to interrupt what is really a very good practice which I would dearly like to go on as long as possible. I remember the ruckus caused by people rooting Kindles for abusing whispernet and the consequences were that Amazon reduced for everybody the amount of download to 50mb.
I concur that is it sensible not to abuse a service lest it disappears altogether.
I do appreciate people sharing codes, I've been lucky enough to be able to use a couple with more than 30% discount which is already good, and it would be nice to continue.
