Its quite amazing that I have been able to backup stuff in calibre all this time. I can't even remember how I got some of the plug ins to work, especially the alf one. I think I would be royally screwed if I had to install it all over again.

You just want to back up your Calibre Settings Folder.
Mine is found in
C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming\calibre
Replace name with whatever your profile name is.
