Ah, I see, I'm not sure I knew that.
I use VPN when I 'have to' for Amazon, but most of the time they're pretty good about matching CA to COM prices now.

Have had a couple of PC's die/crash in the past and I know how much work it is to get things up and running again. Hang in there, hope it goes smoothly and you didn't lose too much, if anything.
