Is it possible to use a windows shortcut to have a backup copy of specific folders that are in my Dropbox folder in my Copy folder as well? Or would I need a symbolic link for that? Or if a folder is in Dropbox should I not have it elsewhere? [the folder I am inquiring about contains Word documents I update on a regular basis]

I get there are differences between a regular shortcut and a symbolic link but confess I don't understand what they are.
