I was getting excited there, installed Kindle Cloud Reader and tried again. And failed again.

On checking, the list of eligible devices I get is:

Kindle
Kindle Touch
Kindle Paperwhite
Kindle Fire
Kindle Fire HD
Kindle Keyboard
Kindle for iPad
Kindle for Android

I suppose that's one of the joys of living in the UK
