It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Johnny Mathis
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in ev'ry store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door.

Almost frigid this morning. Must be 26°!

Good morning, everyone! Happy Sunday! The Food Lady is taking her day of rest, so I cooked in this morning. Just like the Galloping Gourmet, I had my cup in one hand and spatula in the other. Unlike the Galloping Gourmet (before he was reborn) I have East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea in my cup. Breakfast today was very different... no Thai food. Instead, I made "Rootie Kazootie Eggs!"
(Note: For those of you too young, or from other lands, 'Rootie Kazootie' was a hand puppet on TV, pre-dating 'Howdie Doodie." Along with 'Polka Dotty,' Rootie entertained us every Saturday morning, starting in 1950. You might know his famous culinary delight by a different name; it's just a slice of buttered bread with a hole cut out of the center, cooked in a frying pan with an egg in the center. I added a gourmet touch to it this morning by putting Camembert cheese on top!)

Giving up trying to figure out what to do with all the leather. It will live in its box until I do. Today's the day to begin sorting stuff, so we can put 'like' with 'like' and perhaps find it again someday. Right now I have camera equipment in four different drawers in two different rooms, and three dry-boxes! Not the most efficient way to store things. But first, one more mug of tea. But I'm going to change tradition. Instead of the same tea I've been drinking, I feel my unbranded Keemun calling to me...
