I think you are missing the point I was trying to make. The point I was making was not that it was better with three taps. It also wasn't that it wasn't worse. It may very well be worse. I don't think its as simple as you make it out to be, because more taps doesn't always mean worse. Sometimes, a cleaner page is good as well. I'm not saying that that is the case here, only that its more complicated then you are making it seem.

The point I was making is that if two extra taps on an occasional function is treated as the worst possible thing that could ever have happened, it will become hard for Kobo to prioritize what needs addressing first, and it is also going to make it hard to be taken seriously. If we go absolutely bonkers on every change that we don't like, then we just start looking silly.
