Nexus 7 trim bug or similar, but if it isn't effecting you I wouldn't worry about it I'm in the same boat really hoping I'm not effected, it's quite possible a lot of the Nexus 7's are uneffected depending on the storage used the only problem is no way to be sure until you have had it about a year or so.
I'd say enjoy your tablet and Google have made a few changes in android to make the bug less likely to appear so there is reason to be hopeful I'd just have preferred them to not go with asus again as I'd rather not buy from a company that cuts corners like that.
