True. Audible did something like this last year, offering a collection of short stories as a part of Christmas in July. It was something of a mixed bag then, too. Some I really liked (the Dr. Morgan Snow short by M. Rose), some I didn't ("Dominion" by C. Freidman), and some surprised me ("The Autobiography of Blackhawk" was much better than I expected). I'm hoping there will be a few surprises in this batch as well that will broaden my horizons. 2 hours and $0 is a worthy investment to maybe find a new writer or series I like.
