Well, this may be pretty much a kaufman-specific issue, I think . I have a similar taming-specific issue: I would like the settings menu at the top to only be invoked from the middle of the top (like the reading settings is only invoked from the middle of the bottom). I keep tapping it open by mistake.

The best you are likely to get is the setting that gives you a very wider forward zone and a narrow back zone. I use that, btw.
