My problem is that when I am deep into a book, I will sometimes shift the kobo without thinking about it. Then, the next time I tap, I will sometime tap on the wrong side and go the wrong way. THe vast majority of my taps to go backwards are accidental and have to be undone.

Since 99.9% of the time I want to tap forward, I would love an option that made it easier to tap forward and harder to go backwards. A tap-anywhere-except-the-menu-spot to go forwards and drag to go backwards would be perfect. A tap on the bottom 2/3 of the screen to go forwards and a little strip on the top to go backwards would be nice as well.
