Well I asked Amazon if there will be any updates for kindle touch. Here is there answer dated 14 iun 2013:
"Hello,
I want to let you know that our Specialist are currently working on a new software update to the Kindle Touch.
However, at this time, we're unable to determine exactly when the new update will be released.
Please be assured that when the updates are released, this will be posted in our website.
You can also check and download the latest Kindle software update to your computer and transfer it to your Kindle using a USB cable.
For instructions on how to manually update the software, visit:
