I haven't participated in the weekly, ummm, accountings, because I normally just get the free books. I rarely want to spend my swag loot on full priced books, unless it's textbooks for daughter's college classes. I also got a great shop vac for hubby for Christmas last year that was on sale with saved gift cards at amazon. That said, I bought a book last week, not a romance, that full price on kindle was only $4.64 or so (too lazy to look it up). The pbook was like $16. Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey is put out by the ladies who run thekrazycouponlady website. Talk about saving money! You might think of checking out both the site and book.
Thread hijack over. It was really hard resisting some of the books this week, but we are paying daughter's rent and some medical bills, and saving to help soon get his first apartment and get moved when he gets his first 'real' job (just graduated college). You all don't make it easy.
