Using Cloud Drive with a PW 3G?

I've been searching the forums here, and I'm still not quite sure this has been answered definitively or not: would the Amazon Cloud Drive web interface work over the Paperwhite's 3G connection for AZW/Mobi files?

The reason I'm asking is that I've been thinking of the PW 3G for travel, as it seems to be a good compromise between the small but unlit Kobo Mini and the higher-res but heavier Aura HD I use for PDF and manga. Plus, I've still got a decently sized collection of Mobi/AZW from Baen. I know I can download most of my Kindle books from the cloud over 3G (save for a few AZW collections which appear to be 2mb in size), but I'm wondering if I can upload my Baen Books to Amazon Cloud Storage and download them as needed when I'm out of country.

Free Wikipedia access is always a plus, but... I'm trying to figure out if I cn justify the cost of the 3G with access to Amazon Cloud Drove as well for those 200-600kb books.
