Exactly. Sony light cover has a pretty good light.
With integrated light, if the light is strong - it hurts the eyes, if it is set to lower level - it is not enough of the light and because of that it hurts the eyes differently. And with any a bit higher lighting level the screen looks nothing like paper, more like lcd.
With clip-on, the screen looks like paper, it is similar to using clip-on light on a real book.
BTW, if you set the light in PaperWhite to the absolute minimum, is it still glowing in the dark? Or is it equivalent with switching off?
