I tend to agree it may be the mouse. I like Logitech mice but the micro-switches in them are abysmal for having a soft action and then loosing their tension and starting to double click instead of a single click. Can I ask where you get better quality microswitches from? The few I've ordered seem identical in every way, probably made by the same people, so I've been rebending the tension spring when it happens.

And while I hate the double-click problem, I love my MX Revolution mice, and since it's not made anymore (the Performance MX isn't the same), I'll keep taking them apart to keep using them. So mouse war or not, I'm happily keeping my defective mice!
