My thoughts and prayers are with you and your hubby. Total bummer on forgetting your Kindle! Do you have any other device with you that you can read on? In a situation like this I'd go a little nuts with nothing to read. I'd probably end up reading the same page over and over but
trying to read or distract myself otherwise helps
