Hello from France

Hi,

My name is Thomas.

I began e-reading three years ago with my Cybook Opus that I loved until... yesterday when my left buttock tried to smack it. I was trying to prevent it from being smashed by my little daughter but finally... death came from me.

Screen is broken, I saved my books, but that's all I did.

I am now looking for a new reader and came here to get more information and some guidance.

I want a reader that:
- I can hold in one hand (often reading layed on my sofa). So not heavy, and with rubber or soft-touch on the back.

- Is "open" (no "proprietary" format, epub is the minimum), that I can handle like a USB key (or Calibre max.), under both Windows or Linux (I'm running Archlinux).

- Has built in light.

- That can be twicked if needed.

I was thinking about Kobo Glo, or Pocketbook touch Lux (both available in France).

I'll post questions for the Glo in the dedicated section.

Regards,
