I can put up with Twinings 'English Breakfast' tea for one more day... I will be strong... I will be strong....
Boxes are promised for tomorrow afternoon. Just about $200 in fraudulent import duties (they are charging me for importing a guitar... I didn't ship a guitar... They are charging me for shipping a TV... we never even owned a TV.... But $200 is a LOT cheaper than they charged us the last time. That was over a thou in Import Duties. This time, with a retirement visa, we aren't supposed to have to pay ANY import taxes, but this is Thailand. There is no way to know if this money is actually being charged by the Government or by the shipping company wanting to make some extra money.
Oh well, just so long as I get my tea...
