buy ipad mini and then down load from app store kindle e reader or kobo
the ipad mini comes with an e reader called ibooks
which ive heard there will be a desktop version soon so just like kindle ereader you can read the ebooks on the computer or laptop
ipad mini is lighter than the kindle fire i own with a less slippy screen and better
response time for finger pressing
you love it
both the ipad min and the kindle fire are good
but i would buy another ipad mini if needed
u do need a case for both
i have 5 kindle 's and if they dead tomorrow leaving me with just my ipad i wouldn't miss them
but
if the same happen to my ipad mini i would get a replacement as quick as possible cant manage with out my ipad mini .
