To celebrate the release of "Overdraft: The Orion Offensive", a Kindle serial novel that just finished on July 9th, he's releasing the original prequel short story to that tale, called "Human Error", for free. This story was orignially published in the sci-fi anthology "Armored" in 2012. "Overdraft" is now available as an ebook and will be published in trade paperback format on July 23.

Author John Jackson Miller has written numerous fiction stories in the Star Wars, Mass Effect and the Iron Man universes. This time, he has created his own universe, the Whirliverse, to tell sci-fi stories filled with action and humor.
I had read "Armored" and thought this was a well done story, with the characters coming up with an inventive, creative solution to the problem they face. It was also pretty funny too.
