oh god, sadly (for everyone, including me) they are still there. they are ALL still there, and school is back in session as well. and they are all still shrieking, and every time i hear them (which is often) i feel paranoid and go listen at the window to see if i also hear an adult voice (and i do, and it is shouting in chinese, generally, which does nothing to calm down the shrieking child(ren) of course), and wonder if i should call the farking police ANYWAY, and then mutter curses about the farking police who let that beknighted woman (a pox be on her head) bring those kids back here the last time, and do nothing, except agonise over the situation and then try to convince myself that i cannot be responsible for all the problems in the world (specifically this one).
