Just thought my first post should introduce myself, rather than ask questions or complain about something...
I just bought myself a Sony Reader, after doing lots of research (many thanks to this forum in particular...) - and looking forwards to enjoying it..
The range of books is a little disappointing generally, but I'm very optimistic about being able to buy things I'm interested in soon, at a reasonable price (and in the meantime there's plenty of out of copyright stuff there...).
I'm also feeling, as a sometime amateur writer, that the whole concept of e-books might re-energise me to start writing again - we'll see how that goes..
I am giving some thought to releasing some of my haiku on ePub format, if I can get my head round what I need to do to create one from scratch...
I'm a big reader of sci-fi/fantasy, but I'm fairly widely read from eastern philosophy to 'outdoors' books (all hail Ray Mears).
I'll stop writing now, before you get the idea that I'm overly verbose...
