This forum is FABULOUS! I just added the kobo mini (super sale just now) to my e-reader collection, and there's precious little info from the company. But you guys - this is THE PLACE to be!

My hands are not as good as they used to be and the kobo mini is just right for me. Once mine arrived, and I read with it for a while, I ordered two more - one extra for me and one as a gift. I'll be making a sleep cover with some quilting scraps real soon - I found details here about the magnet needed to activate the auto sleep/wake.

I've been using calibre for years, though never adventurously. But the detailed information here is just too tantalizing. I'm going to add shelf management to calibre as soon as I find out how to completely back up the mini. None of the guts of the mini are visible when it's mounted on my Mac, so I'm guessing there's some kind of magic to get everything backed up.

Well, back to researching all of the possibilities, and TIA for all your help.
