Fix both? Have you seperated mobi & epub into different libraries?

If so, you don't need to do this. Your metadata applies to both in the one library.

Select the row the book is on, click on Edit Metadata, select Download metadata,
when the metadata is returned, select the one you want ( if more than one returned ), it should now go off & return a selection of cover/s...again select the one you want & that's
about it.
