I didn't check the firmware version, but it was probably the same. I mean, if they couldn't be bothered to turn on the wifi and load a fr-en dictionary for the demo, I doubt they went through the trouble of connecting it to a computer...
I ended up getting an Aura anyway yesterday. Chinese is not supported natively at all, I probably need to install Chinese fonts first so that I don't get squares instead of characters (my PRS-505 displays "?"

). Though I'm not sure why... The fonts were included in the epub I tried...
Oh, and again, it's damn fast! I tried a very big ebook (bible in Chinese ~7000 pages) and it opened almost instantly. When I tried it on the PRS-505, I thought something had gone wrong because it took around 30s to open the file
