Thanks for the information. I didn't realize the different formats and their sizes were available in the "edit metadata" function. There is an option to show the file size by "selected" format, but it kept defaulting to the first format I had for each book. I unfortunately/fortunately found that you can also delete a format in this section as well. I had the great idea to create a "reading list" and remove all formats except TXT which I use in another program to create an MP3 file with narration. (I am one of those people who cannot just sit down and read a book, but can listen to my MP3 while doing other things, and actually have bought a "gadget" that plugs into my auxiliary port in my car that connects to the "headphone" outlet on my MP3 and will play through car speaker - LOVE IT. No different than driving and listening to radio.)
Back to Calibre - I thought I created a new "Reading list" and then using edit metadata in bulk deleted all formats but TXT.

Well - I guess I just lost my membership in MENSA - I performed the bulk edit on my main library Guess I will have to just sit still and recreate my Default library.

Thank you for all your help. It is exactly what I needed. I just decided to go a little further and completely destroy my library. Oh well, we are supposed to have thundershowers for next few days, give me something to do.
