I'm not really sure! But...the PRS505 is the first ereader to be available in stores (only two weeks ago) and has been sold out since day one. In fact, I heard that every single unit in my local sony store was sold before it hit the shelves. So there seems to be a good level of interest!
Well, after drooling for a couple of weeks over it, I am now in the process of moving in with my girlfriend, so spare cash is no longer spare
In the next few months I'll watch what IREX does and maybe we'll see a price for the plastic logic reader.
Thing is, I can't justify buying a reader that doesn't suit for work. And I'm one of those people who does get massive headaches reading on a screen all day. So if I see a bigger screen Iliad announced tomorrow...I might just have no choice but to go for that...for work, of course.
...and if I can read all of my non-work books on it too....well, that's a sacrifice I'm, willing to make
