The iLiad will export any one of several file systems to your PC (e.g. internal memory, CF card, ...). However, it never exports the file system that contains the operating system. With shell access there are several ways round this: a) load and use the Mrxvt terminal application on the iLiad, or b) load and use the EmelFM2 File Manager on the iLiad, or c) load and run the dropbear SSH daemon on the iLiad and login to it over Ethernet from your PC. See Iliad Software.
